Excellent restaurant, food, portions, price, atmosphere, and did I say food🙃 I have been here several times now, and I have not been disappointed in anything that I have ordered.

Terrible all around. It takes a lot for me post. Just terrible. Pizza and environment. Building is dirty and falling apart. Pizza was inedible. Trust me. I hope my review saves people from experiencing the disappointment. I have no idea how anyone posted a good review.

It's been a while since I've eaten at Tate's Pizza, food quality has declined a bit since the late '90s early 2000's. The chicken in the chicken fettuccine was fantastic however the fettuccine was soaked in oil, and the side of broccoli wasn't probably cooked or seasoned. The server she was awesome she touched our table many times and kept our drinks filled including the sangria which was awesome.

A friend and I tried out this place for the first time for lunch. It wasn't our first choice. The Italian restaurant a block away wasn't opening till 5pm. So decided to checkout this pizzeria. The lasagna was meh 😑. Sauce used was bland, tasted as if they used a can of tomato sauce. Didn't add any spices whatsoever. Now the chicken francese was the major health problem. The lunch portion only has 2 chicken cutlets. The first one that my friend ate tasted fine, but with the first bite of the second piece of chicken, as soon as she tasted it, she made me try it to make sure it wasn't her idea that the piece was rotten. We called the waitress and told her about it. She took the dish back to the kitchen. She was gone for quite a while. Neither the cook or a restaurant manager came to our table to apologize for the situation. The waitress just asked if we wanted something else. At that point we only wanted to leave the place and never return. Even though we weren't charge for the rotten chicken, once my friend got home, she was sick the rest of the day. I just want to bring to the management's attention, that food poisoning is a serious matter. That in a restaurant kitchen, the cook has to be on top of making sure that meat or poultry has to be discarded immediately, as soon as it shows signs of starting to go bad.

Service is quick and staff is very courteous. Outside deck is spacious and great for groups. Food is typical Italian fare, I had their tortellini and it was amazing!

What did you do to the pizza dough? Your pizzas is why I travel a distance to get one. Your dough sucks now! You must be buying that Cheney Bros b.s. You wont see me there again. No thanks.

Great spot with great food, and atmosphere. Great spot for Bubba Army, Football fans, Boxing fans, and race fans, and ex racers. If your luck you might meet some legendary players or racers. I love this place, ever time we are in Tampa we always go in there.
